Spring Solutions #8:  Creamy Turkey Tenderloin 

Being gone and not wanted to eat out all the time is where Tastefully Simple and our Meal Kits come to the rescue!! This meal was honestly better than what any restaurant here would of served us…we used Chicken instead of Turkey and omitted the mushrooms…served over some red potato mashed potatoes …so delicious!! Creamy Turkey Tenderloin


1½ pounds boneless skinless turkey breast tenderloins (about 2) or chicken breasts, sliced ½-inch thick

1 tablespoon Rustic Herb Seasoning

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 (8 ounce) package fresh sliced button mushrooms 

¾ cup reduced sodium chicken broth

¾ cup half & half

1 packet Caramelized Onion & Mushroom Warm Dip Mix 

1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

1 cup frozen peas

Sprinkle sliced turkey with Rustic Herb Seasoning. In large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.

Add turkey; sauté until browned on both sides and internal temperature reaches 165°F on an instant-read food thermometer, about 5-6 minutes. Remove from skillet; keep warm.

Add mushrooms to skillet; sauté until softened and browned, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in chicken broth, half & half and Caramelized Onion & Mushroom Warm Dip Mix.

Bring to a simmer. Stir in cheese and peas; salt and pepper as desired. Add in turkey. Simmer until heated through.

Makes 6 servings OR 4 servings + 2 leftover servings.

Serve with Roasted Vegetable Blend.
Make ahead & freeze: Combine step 1 with oil in a gallon freezer bag. Place bag and unopened Caramelized Onion & Mushroom Warm Dip Mix in a gallon freezer bag. Seal well, label and freeze. Thaw completely. Continue with step 1.
For leftovers Turkey Tetrazzini recipe: Place 2 servings of turkey and 1 cup sauce in a storage container. Refrigerate up to 2 days.
