Day 20…DinnerTime Delights…Grilled Mushroom Swiss Burgers

Our weather has turned to Fall and lots of rain and didn’t want to grill out in the rain so decided to bake these…I mixed all the ingredients together…baked 350′ for 30 mins…and served over mashed potatoes…delicious and simple…perfect for kids!

Grilled Mushroom Swiss Burgers


1½ lbs. lean ground beef

1 packet Bold Burger™ Seasoning (order at I only used half and it was plenty!

¼ cup water

4 oz. fresh mushrooms, finely chopped (I used canned mushrooms)

1 – 1½ tsp. Ultimate Steak™ Seasoning (order at

6 hamburger buns (made mashed potatoes instead)

6 slices Swiss cheese (I used shredded cheese)

6 slices bacon, fried (I used bacon bits)

Assembly instructions: Combine first five ingredients. Form into 6 patties and place between wax paper in a gallon resealable freezer bag. Seal well, label and freeze. 

Cooking instructions: Thaw completely. Grill or fry to desired doneness. Serve on buns with cheese and bacon. Makes 6 servings.

3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

15 oz. ricotta cheese (optional)

½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese (optional)

8 oz. uncooked lasagna noodles, broken
