Hearty Tuna Casserole Recipe


1 pkg. Perfectly Potato Cheddar Soup Mix (order at

5 cups cold water

2 Tbsp. Onion Onion™ Seasoning (order at

1 tsp. Garlic Garlic™ Seasoning (order at

1 tsp. Seasoned Salt (order at

2 (7.1 oz.) pouches Albacore tuna

1 cup frozen peas

1 Tbsp. butter

8 oz. sliced fresh mushrooms

2 1/2 cups (about 8 oz.) penne pasta, cooked al dente

3 Tbsp. butter, melted

1 1/2 cups panko (Japanese-style) breadcrumbs

Whisk together Perfectly Potato Cheddar Soup Mix, water, Onion Onion, Garlic Garlic and Seasoned Salt; stir in tuna and frozen peas. Set aside. Heat butter over medium high heat; add mushrooms and cook until tender. Add soup mixture and heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Place cooked pasta in a greased 9×13 baking pan; pour soup mixture over pasta and bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Combine melted butter and breadcrumbs; sprinkle on top of casserole. Bake 5-10 minutes longer or until topping is golden brown. Makes 6 servings.
