Easy Baked Mac & Cheese Recipe
12 oz. dry penne pasta, prepared as directed
1 cup milk
12 oz. can evaporated milk
3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup cottage cheese, optional
1 packet Garden Salsa Cheese Ball Mix (order at http://www.SimplyKimberS.com)
2 tsp. Onion Onion Seasoning (order at http://www.SimplyKimberS.com)
1 tsp. Garlic Garlic Seasoning (order at http://www.SimplyKimberS.com)
½-1 tsp. Seasoned Salt (order at http://www.SimplyKimberS.com)
1 tsp. pepper
1 cup diced ham
Combine ingredients in a gallon resealable freezer bag. Seal well, label and freeze.
When ready to prepare, thaw completely. Place in a greased casserole. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in 350° oven for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Makes 6 servings. Tip: Rinse the bag with ¼ cup milk to remove sauce mixture.
Serving suggestion: Serve with a green salad or fresh fruit.
If you like a crumb topping, combine ¼ cup bread crumbs, 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese and 1 Tbsp. melted butter. Sprinkle on mac & cheese before baking.
