Day 12 of 28…Seasonal Favorites…Bayou Glazed Lettuce Wraps Recipe

this was so delicious and full of flavor…great for fast dinners…we used ground beef (which I found on sale in a bigger package so browned it all and froze half for my next ground beef meal) instead of ground turkey and Pink Peppercorn Blend in place of the seasoned salt…no peppers for my hubby so added a little more shredded carrots…I did not have almonds so I chopped some peanuts

Bayou Glazed Lettuce Wraps Recipe

  • 20 oz. ground turkey
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • ½ shredded carrots
  • 1 head lettuce (boston or butter lettuce), rinsed and patted dry
  • Slivered almonds (optional)

  • Brown the turkey in a skillet with the carrots, peppers and Seasoned Salt. Once the turkey is cooked and no longer pink, drain, if necessary and stir in the Bayou Bourbon Glaze. Scoop turkey mixture into individual lettuce leaves; top with slivered almonds and an additional drizzle of Bayou Bourbon Glaze, if desired.

  • 1 tsp. Garlic Garlic™ Seasoning  (order at
  • ½-1 tsp.  Seasoned Salt (order at
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 cup diced ham
