Day 4 of 28….Seasonal Favorites…Simple Beef Stroganoff Recipe

We used pork stew meat instead,,,everything else is the same

Simple Beef Stroganoff Recipe


  • 1½ lbs. stew meat
  • 14.5 oz. can beef broth
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 oz. fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 1 sliced green pepper (optional)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 12 oz. pkg. egg noodles
  • Combine first 8 ingredients in a gallon resealable freezer bag; squish to mix ingredients. Seal well, label and freeze. 

    When ready to prepare, thaw completely. Place in a greased slow cooker. Cook on low 7-8 hours; 30 minutes before serving, stir in the sour cream. Serve over prepared egg noodles or rice. 

    Tips: If you like your sauce a little thicker, combine 2 Tbsp. corn starch and 2 Tbsp. water, stir well. Right before serving, add a little at a time until you get the thickness you like.
