We used pork stew meat instead,,,everything else is the same
Simple Beef Stroganoff Recipe
- 1½ lbs. stew meat
- 14.5 oz. can beef broth
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 8 oz. fresh sliced mushrooms
- 1 sliced green pepper (optional)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 12 oz. pkg. egg noodles
- Combine first 8 ingredients in a gallon resealable freezer bag; squish to mix ingredients. Seal well, label and freeze.
When ready to prepare, thaw completely. Place in a greased slow cooker. Cook on low 7-8 hours; 30 minutes before serving, stir in the sour cream. Serve over prepared egg noodles or rice.
Tips: If you like your sauce a little thicker, combine 2 Tbsp. corn starch and 2 Tbsp. water, stir well. Right before serving, add a little at a time until you get the thickness you like.
