Day 2 of 28…Seasonal Favorites…Creamy Bayou Bourbon Chicken Recipe

This was VERY good…I did not have cream of mushroom so used cream of chicken…worked great!

Creamy Bayou Bourbon Chicken Recipe

ingredients

Combine ingredients in a gallon resealable freezer bag. Seal well, label and freeze. When ready to prepare, thaw completely and place in a greased slow cooker. Cover, cook on low 6-7 hours or bake in 350° oven for 1½-2 hours. Tip: Rise bag with ½ cup water to remove sauce mixture. This dish has a great sauce that can be served over mashed potatoes or rice.

  • 1½ lbs. lean ground beef
  • 2.8 oz. container French fried onions
  • 12 slider-sized buns
  • 6 slices American cheese, cut into quarters
  • 12 tomato slices
  • 12 small lettuce leaves
