Moms Sunday Pot Roast Recipe


  • ½ cup water
  • 3-4 lb. boneless beef chuck roast (we used pork roast)
  • 1½ lbs. whole baby red potatoes
  • 8 oz. pkg. fresh baby carrots
  • directions

    Serve it tonight: Whisk soup mix and water in a small bowl. Place roast in a greased slow cooker; pour soup mixture over the top. Add potatoes and carrots. Cover; cook on high 7-8 hours. Makes 6 servings. 

    Serve it later: Place soup mix, water and beef roast in large resealable freezer bag. Freeze. Thaw completely. Place in a greased slow cooker with potatoes and carrots; cook as directed above.
