Day 17 of 28…EveryDay Delicious…Gorgonzola and Olive Penne with Bacon Recipe

I had some dried tomoates from my in laws from their garden so I added them while cooking the bacon…yummy!!  

Gorgonzola and Olive Penne with Bacon Recipe


  • 1 lb. bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
  • 1 lb. box penne pasta
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1½ cups milk
  • ½ cup chopped green olives (hubby does not like green olives so went with sliced black olives)
  • Garnish with chives, if desired
  • Directions
  • Prepare pasta according to package directions while bacon is frying. Drain pasta and bacon. Crumble bacon into small pieces. In small saucepan combine cheese ball mix, cream cheese and milk; whisk to blend and heat until smooth. In large saucepan stir all ingredients together; heat until warmed through. Garnish with chives.

  • ½ cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cube 
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • ¼ cup Garlic Parmesan Wing Sauce (order in
  • 2 (10 oz.) bags lettuce mix
  • ½ cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced (optional)
